Harper Construction Recruitment Careers
As an expanding and dynamic company, we are always keen to speak to people from within our industry or from those who are considering a career in recruitment. We attract staff from a diverse range of backgrounds in recognition of the variety of skills and qualities that bring success in the construction recruitment industry.
Staff Training
All new employees at Harper Construction Recruitment go through a thorough ‘hands-on’ training programme that’s designed to give a real understanding of Harpers’ operations and the recruitment process. We use the latest technology to help all recruitment consultants maximise the efficiency of their working methods, and we value the importance of developing our staff at all levels. We have a policy of promotion from within the business, providing you with a real opportunity to progress your career.
The Recruitment Consultant Role
The role of a recruitment consultant is both challenging and rewarding. You will be responsible for creating and managing your own business within the agency. Your primary responsibilities will be to generate new business and develop and expand client relationships, and will include the selection of candidates and management of ongoing projects.
You will need to be…
Ideally you will be well-educated and hard-working with bags of common sense. Excellent communication skills and a determined approach are essential in being able to deal successfully with customers, either face to face or via the telephone. Sales experience is not necessary as an aptitude for business and an ability to think on your feet and be a self-confident individual will more likely prove successful in a recruitment environment.
Development & Opportunity
Our business grows through the career development of our staff. We reward hard work and success by providing opportunities to develop – both financially and personally – by encouraging staff to take positions of greater responsibility within the business. Harpers is committed to growth by moving into the M&E/Engineering market as well as the Freelance and Permanent market.
